DMPK

From early screening to IND-enabling studies, we deliver reliable data that meets global regulatory standards.

In Vivo PK and TK

Rodents

  • Species and strains: Mice (CD-1, C57BL/6, Balb/c nude, etc.) (up to 2000 mice), rats (Sprague Dawley, Wistar) (up to 600 rats)
  • Administration Routes:
  • Oral (PO), intravenous (IV bolus, infusion), intraperitoneal (IP), subcutaneous (SC), transdermal (TD), Intratracheal (IT), Intranasal (IN), Intraduodenal (ID)
  • Dose regimen: single or multiple doses
  • Surgical Techniques:
  • Bile-duct cannulation (BDC), jugular cannulation (JVC), portal vein cannulation (PVC)
  • Biological sampling:
  • Blood, plasma, serum, bile, urine, feces, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), spinal cord sciatic nerve, specific brain region, tissue (liver, kidney, intestine, etc.) or tumor specimen
  • Mouse PK: Serial bleeding
  • Brain blood barrier (BBB) penetration
  • Cassette-dosing (up to 5-in-1)
  • Excretion pathways

Large Animals

  • Species and strains: Dogs: >100 Beagle dogs, and > 40 Cynomolgus monkeys (at partner labs), Resus monkeys are also available
  • Administration routes: IV bolus, IV infusion, PO (liquid, capsule, tablet), IM and SC
  • Dose regimen: Single or multiple doses
  • Dosing design: Crossover or non-crossover, fast or fed (food effect)
  • Biological sampling: blood, plasma, serum, urine, feces and tissues, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)
  • Cassette-dosing (up to 5-in-1)
  • Excretion pathways
  • PK/PD evaluation

PK Study Capacity:

 70 IV/PO PK studies/week

Turnaround Time:

5 working days for rodents for small molecules

5-10 working days for large animals (non-naïve) for small molecules

5-10 working days for sample bioanalysis of biologics (the entire study turnaround time is dependent on in-life sampling period)
