Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our CRO services in in-vivo/in-vitro pharmacology, and DMPK. The ideal candidate will hold an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline and possess exceptional communication skills in English, with a proven ability to engage global clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of preclinical drug development and a passion for building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
o Identify and target potential clients (biotech, pharma, academic institutions) requiring oncology, immunology, and DMPK services.
o Develop tailored proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new business opportunities.
o Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
2.Market Strategy & Promotion:
o Promote the company’s expertise in in-vivo/in-vitro tumor models, immune-oncology assays, PK/PD studies, and DMPK solutions.
o Attend international conferences, workshops, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
o Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and technical collateral.
3.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with project management teams to align client needs with service capabilities.
o Provide market feedback to R&D and operations teams to refine service offerings.
4.Sales Pipeline Management:
o Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts.
o Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging client needs.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Pharmacology, Oncology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or related field.
Experience:
o Minimum 3+ years in business development, sales, or account management within CRO, biotech, or pharma industries.
o Demonstrated success in selling preclinical services (e.g., in-vivo models, DMPK, PK/PD studies).
Skills:
o Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
o Strong technical acumen in oncology/immunology research and DMPK principles.
o Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
o Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%).
